Holy Sanctuary Of Osios Arsenios Kappadokis

At a distance of about 95 kilometers from Thessaloniki, in Vatopaidi, Halkidiki, is the men's monastery (Holy Hermitage) of Saint Arsenius of Cappadocia, near the women's monastery of Ormylia.

The monastery was founded in 1986 and was inaugurated by the Metropolitan of Kassandreia, Sir Synesios, as it belongs ecclesiastically to this Metropolis. It was established with the exhortation and wish of the Blessed Elder Paisios.
